Gloria D. Hall, co-founder and project director of Art in the Park, Worcester is working in conjunction with Librarian Morgan Manzella and the library’s trustees to present Art in the Yard 2017 at the Oxford Free Public Library. The exhibit is designed to enhance the library experience, bring public art to the citizens of Oxford, and provide an opportunity for artists to showcase their work. The exhibition, slated for June 24 – October 20, 2017, will be the second exhibit of sculptures in the town of Oxford.
The call for sculptors is available online here, Art in the Yard Application, or via email request to email@example.com. Artist accepted will receive $500.00 stipend per sculpture. Depending on size and nature of artwork, up to five sculptures will be selected. Deadline for emailed-only submission is May 20, 2016.
Art in the Yard is presented by the Oxford Free Library in partnership with the town of Oxford Public Works Department.
