The full moon on May 22nd is known as the Flower Moon.  Flowers spring forth in abundance this month. Some Algonquin tribes knew this full Moon as the Corn Planting Moon or the Milk Moon.

There is always something interesting happening in the sky and our new telescope is available for check out!  Check out NASA’s Sky Events Calendar for other ideas.
