Libraries Rock!Welcome to the Oxford Library Children's Summer Reading Program!
This program is for ages 0-12, and you don't have to be a resident of Oxford to join!
What do you have to do?
You can read to your child, have your child read their favorite books or they can listen to audiobooks instead! Be sure to log in your minutes online, and you can have a chance to win a prize from our random drawing once a week!
We have many things to offer!
You can sign up for some of our fun programs at the Children's Circulation Desk, you can visit our air conditioned Library and make a craft, visit the Discovery Room, sit in our rocker chairs and read Graphic Novels, play a game on our huge checker board, play a game of Jenga, and use your imagination in our Early Learning Center that is filled with toys for children ages 0-6.
Our Summer Reading Program runs from Monday, June 18th - Wednesday, August 1st. Log in that you read at least 100 minutes of reading a week for a chance to win a prize each week!
Once you join our Summer Reading program, you're automatically invited to our Summer Reading Party on the front lawn of the Library Wednesday, August 1st from 11:00 am-1:00 pm. You can enjoy a hula hoop program, bouncy house, and a free ice cream treat on us! Sign up below for summer reading!
