We would like to thank all of the many volunteers and book readers that helped to make the June book sale a success.  Thanks to you the library can fund many of the programs that they would otherwise not be able to host due to budget cuts. Thank you.

Children's Programming

 Storytime
@ THE OXFORD PUBLIC LIBRARY

Programs for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and older children.
Come join the fun! It's  free!!!!
Program descriptions and flyers will be available beginning August 24 here are at the children's circulatopn desk.

STORY TIMES WILL BEGIN ON SEPTEMBER 14.

*IMPORTANT: All of the following programs must be pre-registered for, either by stopping by the Oxford Library Children's Desk or by calling 508-987-6003 ext. 225.

Parent and Child Together Time (PACT)

(supported by the Coordinated Family & Community Engagnement Grant)
Have fun with your child through play to:
*Socialize with others
*Develop listening and speaking skills
*Understand the importance of reading with your child

Groups will meet on Thursdays at the Oxford Library, Children's Room (Second floor), beginning September 12Morning (10:00 - 11:30 AM) or afternoon (4:00-5:30).  Groups for children 0-2 years old and 3-5 years old.  You must complete an application in order to participate.

PARTICIPANTS WILL BE CHOSEN THROUGH A LOTTERY.

PumpkinLine

PUMPKIN CONTEST

Wednesday, October 6 @ 4:00 P.M.
All ages / register at children's desk / Meeting Room
The public will vote! Stop by the children's room and join the fun.
You bring a new roll of toilet paper for each pumpkin creation (max. of 2 per child) and your imagination! We Supply the rest. Program ends at 5:00 pm.
Winners will be declared Tuesday, Nov. 2. Pumpkins may be picked up after Nov. 8.
